AMAZING BLITAR: THE BRAVERY SMALL TOWN WITH HIDDEN BEAUTY

A small town called Blitar.

Blitar is one of dozens of small towns in Indonesia. Located in the eastern Java province of Indonesia, it is about 80 kilometers away from the city of Malang and 167 kilometers away from the central city of Surabaya. Blitar is home to over 1,7 million people and it has many immense beauty. Starting from the south, which has a border directly to the Indian Ocean, one of the places that has a long coastline. Actually this town has so many beaches and produce a substantial amount of fishery and it become the livelihoods of local there. In addition, recently has realized the South Cross Rail Development Project (JLS/ Jalur Lintas Selatan). That proves Indonesia doesn't only have Bali but also Blitar. And I believe that Blitar will have a bright future as a tourism destination.

Viewed from the historical traces, Blitar is the land where the great leader was born, who proclaimed the independence of Indonesia on August 17, 1945. He is the first president, Ir. Soekarno. He spent his childhood here and was also buried in this town. Where his grave is connected to the museum and the library. In the same year before Indonesia's independence, there was a rebellion against the Japanese occupation, which became the biggest PETA Revolution in Indonesia and was led by Sudanco Supriyadi. For this, the government established a monument called Daidan, which means monument to the PETA Revolution.

Then Religious tourism. Blitar was filled with multi-religious people, and the Hindu temple became one of the heritages. Penataran Temple is one of the complex Hindu heritages that was found in 1815 on land with a large area of about 12.946 m2. It's located on the southwest slope of Mount Kelud, which attracts any tourist interested in history and culture. This temple is the grandest and widest temple in East Java. 

So in this city many have historical traces. One of the things that was extraordinary was the courage of the Blitar youths against this Japanese occupation on the ground of Patria, they were incorporated in PETA led by Sudanco Supriyadi. For this reason, the government established a monument as a form of respect and as a sign of courage and enthusiasm in the struggle against colonialism. Although this struggle has been failed in the attack, this fight was the biggest PETA fight in Indonesia.

Blitar is a small city that has lots of love, lots of stories, and many features that people don't know about. The problem is the potential that has not been explored properly. Through this article, I hope to convey and present a beautiful painting about Blitar as a bravery small city with hidden beauty. You must have been curious, where is Blitar? Blitar is located in the eastern Java province of Indonesia, about 80 km from the city of Malang and 167 km from Surabaya. If you want to go to Blitar, you can use land transportation such as cars, buses, motorbikes, railroad.

Blitar has many interesting natural fascination and unique cultures. Blitar has a historical trail in the form of a temple called the Penataran temple where this temple is the largest and grandest temple in East Java. Penataran Temple is a Hindu temple inherited from the Kediri kingdom. In addition to the historical traces of Blitar temple, it is also rich in its natural potential.

Blitar has many beautiful beaches in the south because the area is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean so it has a long coastline. Not surprisingly, Blitar also has many unique and unspoiled beaches, interestingly these beaches are still quiet so there are not many who visit, so if you come here like you have a private beach, guys, hehe. Blitar Selatan has 11 beaches, you have to visit:

One of the beaches that is really beautiful above is Pangi Beach, which is located in the village of tumpak kepuh, bakung blitar district. This white sand beach stretches around the beach with very blue water. This beach is relatively quiet so visitors can still enjoy the naturalness and beauty of a clean beach. The waves on the beach are quite large like the beaches in general but a traveler can still use them to play water on the beach alone. The atmosphere around this beach is really beautiful with rows of pine trees along the beach. This beach can also be used for camping activities because it has a large land area where it is covered from the beach. Come here and you will refuse to go after seeing this.

In Blitar there are also tea plantations called Sirah Kencong plantations which have hilly views that are truly beautiful and spoil the eyes. If you come here, you will definitely feel at home to stay and linger here. This plantation is located in Ngadirejo Village, Wlingi District, Blitar Regency. There is a river that is very clear and cold. Besides that, it turns out that there is also a waterfall here. So wahat you waiting for come here and see. This place has incredible natural fascination, which will make your body refreshed and relaxed, the atmosphere here is also very peaceful and calm.

Besides having extraordinary natural potential, Blitar also has cultural potential. There are various cultures and traditional ceremonies and they all have their own uniqueness. For example Grebeg Pancasila, Blitar expo, Purnama Seruling Penataran, etc. Besides that, Blitar's cultural arts are Emprak dance, Jaranan dance, and Remo dance. Great guys, on May 2 2018, Hollywood director from Blitar, Livi Zheng performed the film "Blitar", where the film was screened in Los Angeles in the United States. In the film entitled "Blitar", Livi Zheng raised the story "Triangle Diamond" or three brilliant points of view namely Serang Beach, sirah kencong plantations that I have discussed above and Penataran Temple.

There are still many natural and cultural fascination hidden in Blitar guys.
